Diavik diamond mines
The Need
Golder Paste Technology had the mandate for the procurement of
a paste backfill plant at the Diavik Diamond Mines in Canada's Northwest Territories. The equipment
had to operate continuously, 24 hours/day. All equipment had to be manufactured on a fast track
schedule and delivered on winter roads only.

detailed engineering for the conveyors and galleries that were needed to operate in extreme cold
weather.
